IN CASE OF CONTINUED PROBLEMS WHERE THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT WORK. If all else fails, it could be that either your ISP or your firewall is blocking advanced SMTP commands. I have provided a solution below you can use to test if this is the problem. How to test if an ISP or if a firewall is blocking SMTP Authentication. These are the steps. 1. Open a command or DOS prompt. Click <start>, <programs>, <accessories> <command prompt> 2. Type this command : telnet 64.239.149.125 25 (note there is a space before the 25) 3. You should see : 220 mail.724hosting.com (IMail 7.13 42435-4) NT-ESMTP Server X1) displayed on the screen.
3. Now type EHLO mail.724hosting.com NORMAL RESPONSE #1 (this is what should be seen if the connection is good and working)

220************************************************
EXPLANATION 2: PROBLEM RESPONSE 3:
